Booking Policy
A reservation ensures that your spot is reserved and guaranteed. To make this possible, you must confirm your booking and make a deposit. These spaces are not sold, for this reason please understand that no refund will be made based on the following.
Reservations are not 100% confirmed until full payment has been received. If you prefer to pay at our office, please contact the dive shop directly and we will hold your reservation with a valid credit card with a non-refundable 20% deposit of the total booking (balance due upon check-in)
No refunds are available once a tour or course has commenced.
Dive Courses
All courses require a deposit of USD$50.00 upon reservation. Balance is due prior to starting the course.
All courses require a 50% deposit. Balance is due prior to starting the course. (depends on above statement with full payment)
Reservation for dive courses must be paid in full upon reservation. Reservation is not confirmed until full payment has been received.
Cancellation of course must be done 7 days prior to course date.
Cancellation done after the 7 days, no refund will be made. Students are registered with PADI and we are charged for the registration and spaces for our courses are limited.
If cancellation is made by Blue Wave Divers, due to mechanical failure, unexpected weather conditions, or any other reason that is deemed acceptable by Blue Wave Divers, we will reschedule your dive or refund in full.
Cancellation of any course must be done by 3 p.m. (Belize Time) the evening before course date. Cancellation can be done by email, in person or phone call. No refunds for cancellations done after 3 p.m.
Dive Trips
Reservation for dive trips must be paid in full upon reservation. Reservation is not confirmed until full payment has been received.
Drinking or partying is not recommended before any dive trip. No shows for any trip or course, there will be no refund.
Overnight Dive Trip
Cancelling of reservation must be done 4 days prior to trip dates. Failure to do so will result in a 50% non-refundable deposit. No shows for any trip or course will result in no refund.
Certified Diver Policy
For certified divers, WE DO CHECK & VERIFY CERTIFICATION at the Dive shop. All recognized agencies will be honored. We cannot let individuals participate in Certified Diver Activities if one cannot prove their certification or if we cannot verify the agency. NOTE - You do not need to be certified to participate in the Discover Scuba Activity.
All individuals wishing to participate in diving activities must be at least 10 years of age and meet all medical requirements listed on PADI forms. All individuals under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult and all individuals under the age of 18 must have a parent or guardian sign for them.
