PADI Open Water Diver
Become a certified diver with the PADI Open Water Course and experience a completely new world. We at Blue Wave Divers will ensure you learn and understand the required skills needed to become a certified diver. Adequate swimming skills is required and need to be in good physical health Junior Open water divers must be 10 years old or older.
Cost for Full Course:
- 1. Knowledge development (E-learning online study or in a classroom) to understand the basic principles of scuba diving
2.Confined water dives to learn the basic scuba skills
3.Open water dives to use the skills you have learned
$400 US dollars.
Consists of three main phases:
PADI eLearning online classroom:This online portion is paid to PADI and the cost for the online course varies based on your country of residence. The E-learning is the classroom portion that includes all theory, quizzes and exams. Students that sign up for this portion can become a certified diver in two to three days.
The cost for the diving portion with Blue Wave Divers is $330 US dollars. It includes park fees, rental of all dive equipment, Open Water Certification Card, logbook, water and snacks.
You must submit the hard copy of the E-learning record that contains the grade for the online classroom portion.
Open Water Referral Course:If you started the PADI Open Water Course with another dive shop and you were unable to complete it, do not worry, you can be certified! You will need to provide the referral form from the previous instructor. The form must be properly filled out and signed by the instructor. If you started the open water course with a different dive agency other than PADI; please send us an email.
Please note the price is subject to change based on what you have left to complete. Below are the standard prices for remaining dives only, not including remaining classroom activities.
• 4 dives/2 days - $250 US dollars
• 3 dives/2 days - $225 US dollars
• 2 dives/1 day - $175 US dollars
